(d) The starting locations of the segments

The LFs of the variables in the F-array are calculated as follows:

LF = L0F(variable name) + indicial expression

Here L0F, which is called the "zero F-location index", is the LF of the location JUST BEFORE the segment in which the variables of interest lie. The starting locations of the segments are therefore equal to:

L0F(variable name) + 1
