Benelux PHOENICS User Meeting 2010

On Tuesday 28th of September the Benelux PHOENICS User Meeting 2010 will be organised at the Aristo (www.aristo.nl), Vestdijk 30 in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

You are more than welcome to meet fellow users, discuss your experiences and hear about the latest developments.

The preliminary programme is

Morning from 9:30 until 12:00 hrs

• presentations Phoenics Users
• comparison of different hardware platforms in respect of Phoenics calculation capabilities (you will receive a q1 file to check the capabilities of your hardware as soon as you have applied)
• presentation by CHAM on new developments

Afternoon until approximately 17:30 hrs

Workshop with following themes (attendants will be asked for their preferences).

• working with Inform: get access to intermediate results during a calculation, manipulate boundary conditions and prepare Q1 files that are independant of the 'props' file.
• radiation models in Phoenics: which model to use in what situation. How to set its input parameters.

Every attendant of the workshop should bring his or hers own laptop.

You can apply by sending a confirmative mail message before 25th of August.

Costs are € 130,- (ex VAT) for normal attendants and are reduced to € 40,- (ex VAT) for presenters. In case you care to present your work, i would like to hear that in short notice as time is limited.

The Aristo meeting facilities are at a walking distance from the Eindhoven railway station and have ample parking facilities in the parking of the 'Heuvelgalerie', from where you can walk indoors to the Aristo. Your parking ticket will be limited to an amount of € 8,- (dayticket is available at the Aristo desk). Should you like it I will send you an english version of the route description.
