PHOENICS can be licensed annually or perpetually. The options
selected, period of license and hardware platform dictate PHOENICS
licence fees. Annual maintenance contracts are available which entitle
maintained users to software upgrades and unlimited user support.
Discounts are offered for non-profit research and development activities,
with further reductions for academic institutions featuring PHOENICS
within teaching programmes.
Based around a common core, a range of modules is available tailored to the needs of
specific industries. For example the Virtual Wind Tunnel provides details of lift and
drag that are essential for the aerodynamicist whereas FLAIR calculates temperatures &
comfort factors that are of more interest to designers of heating and ventilation
systems for buildings.
